Brunch Begins, Opens Again
The relatively new Houston Blacklight bar is getting in on the brunch scene. Eater Portland reports the menu includes “five-spice apple fritters served with Jorinji miso caramel, shrimp benedict smothered in terasi hollandaise, and kimchi hash with an optional add-on of char siu burnt ends.” And Palomar is restarting brunch, beginning Sunday. Look for Cuban takes on the traditional weekend fare, including guava French toast and a frita “McMuffin.” [Eater Portland]
