First Somali Coffee Shop
Above GRND, in Northwest, is Portland’s first Somali-run coffee shop. It has your usual cafe offerings but also banana milk lattes, a Somali favorite. Its Portland-born owners have put an original spin on coffee — including keeping the cafe open to 11 p.m. each night. [Oregonian]
