Thanks to the work-from-home boom, more than a quarter of Portland's downtown offices are empty. And housing advocates and urban designers are wondering why we’re not turning them into livable spaces.
Today on City Cast Portland, we’re talking with Sergio Palleroni, a professor of architecture at Portland State University and co-founder of PSU's Homelessness Research & Action Collaborative. He’s going to walk us through the cultural mind shift needed to make these plans possible, which could include sharing a bathroom with your neighbors (nope).
