The Best (And Worst) of Portland Dive Bars
The Portland dive bar scene is just built differently.
It’s cold and wet here for a good chunk of the year, so when we seek refuge from the elements, we also expect something not just hot, but also delicious to eat. That’s not common in most U.S. cities.
Today on the show, producers John Notarianni and Giulia Fiaoni join host Claudia Meza for a Portland dive bar roundup. Which has the best food? Which have the best-mixed drinks? Which ones have the coziest spaces to huddle up during the winter? Which ones can they never show their faces at again?
Stick around, you might just find a new favorite spot.
